Cole Kattan '19

FBR put a development plan and place him on a path towards the Division 2/Division 3 level.
FBR was in constant & DIRECT communication daily with college coaches.

FBR alerted college coaches as to where Cole would be playing and followed up with his schedules as they were made available.
FBR requested feedback from college coaches in order to improve Cole's play as quickly as possible.
FBR attended collegiate visits for support and helped in the final decision making.
SUNY Geneseo offered Cole a roster spot on the team. After redshirting his first year due to injury, Cole took full advantage of this opportunity, STARTING in 6 games as a sophomore, 24 games as a junior, and 24 games as a senior, highlighted by earning 2nd Team All-SUNYAC. Cole finished his career averaging over 15ppg for Geneseo!
Most recently, Cole Kattan earned 2024 Division III Academic All-District honors for District 3, as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC). In Division III, District 3 encompasses all schools in New York State. The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom with a minimum GPA requirement of 3.50.
Since Cole has a 5th year, FBR helped in setting him up with another opportunity to use his fourth year of eligibility while obtaining his graduate degree. Cole will be attending SUNY Oswego for the 2024-2025 season!
FBR works diligently to change someone's life and Cole is a yet another example of a different path, but same goal!

The Story

Cole was a great high school player, earning All State, All Section, All Conference, All League as a Senior at Scarsdale High School.
After being able to see Cole's development up close for only one year, FBR specialists were able to identify his ability to be a contributor at the next level.
Although Cole averaged over 18 ppg, 3 apg and 6 rpg as a senior, Cole did not have a single Division 1 offer. There were tons of D2 and D3 interest, though.
